Sophie Fredén will defend her doctoral thesis in Business Administration at a public dissertation defense on Zoom Webinar and at the Military University in Halmstad on Friday, the 21th of August at 1 pm.The thesis title is: Från värnplikt till frivillighet: Hur en ny reformidé mötte den etablerade praktiken i Försvarsmakten.  (From conscription to voluntarism: How a novel idea met the established practice in the Swedish Armed Forces)NOTE: The thesis is written in Swedish and the defense is held in Swedish. Faculty examiner/opponent: Professor Rolf Solli, Gothenburg University. Members of the examining committee are: Associate Professor Petra Adolfsson, Gothenburg University, Associate Professor Erik Hedlund, Swedish Defense University, Stockholm, and Associate Professor Anders Melander, JIBS.
