CANCELLED! An alumnus story - Emma Björner from Gothenburg Research Institute (16/4)This lecture is cancelled and will be held during autumn 2020 instead! Emma Björner is an alumni from the Media and Communication programme. During studies, Emma spent one semester in the US, wrote her thesis in Malawi, and worked with the Student Union. After graduating, Emma moved to China, to Guangzhou and later Shanghai. Her master and PhD-studies is focusing on the branding and development of Chinese mega-cities. Today Emma is a researcher and lecturer at Gothenburg Research Institute and Lund University. Her research is on sustainable tourism and sustainable cities and her teaching on consumer culture and brand communication. Digital inspirationsföreläsning med frilansfotografen Christopher LanawayCareer Center i samarbete med Science Park! Välkommen på en inspirerade föreläsning med Christopher Lanaway – prisad och internationellt publicerad frilansfotograf med fokus på kommersiella bilder och porträtt. Christopher kommer ursprungligen från Storbritannien men är idag bosatt i Sverige. Han specialisering inom fotografering har tagit honom till bland annat idrottsarenor över hela Europa. Christopher har fotograferat högprofilerade elitidrottare för både redaktionella sammanhang och reklamkampanjer. Under föreläsningen kommer Christopher att berätta hur han kom in på fotografering och startade sitt företag. Han kommer dela med sig av hur branschen för fotografer ser ut, hur du kan kontakta nya kunder och bygga upp en kundbas för att göra sitt fotograferande till ett heltidsyrke. Christopher kommer också att dela med sig av utmaningarna och svårigheterna han stod inför när han flyttade till Sverige, och hur han hanterar sig och anpassar sig efter nya förutsättningar i och med Corona-viruset. Meet Mia, an alumni from the Masters programme Supply Chain Management. An alumnus story - Emma Björner from Gothenburg Research Institute- online!Due to public restrictions this lecture will be held on Zoom! Emma Björner is an alumni from the Media and Communication programme. During studies, Emma spent one semester in the US, wrote her thesis in Malawi, and worked with the Student Union. After graduating, Emma moved to China, to Guangzhou and later Shanghai. Her master and PhD-studies is focusing on the branding and development of Chinese mega-cities. Today Emma is a researcher and lecturer at Gothenburg Research Institute and Lund University.
