Slutseminarium Karin Bertills

Den 23 Maj 2019 håller Karin bertills sitt slutseminarium.

 

Avhandlingens preliminära titel är: "Physical Education – teaching style, grading and student perceived self-efficacy, aptitude to participate, and functioning"

My research project is about self-efficacy and participation in school-based Physical Education with a special focus on students with disabilities. The project is a three-year longitudinal study in secondary school. Students (n=450) reported their perceived self-efficacy, aptitude to participate, and functioning in year 7 and year 9. Observations of PE-lessons were performed in year 8. PE teachers' teaching skills were also observed and compared to their previously self-rated teaching skills. Student developmental trajectories over time were compared between three groups of students with 1. disabilities, 2. high grades, and 3. low grades in PE year 6.
