MMTC seminar - Municipal Corporations with guest Anna-Karin ZinnerforsMMTC Lunch-time Seminar with Guest Speaker Anna-Karin Zinnefors We are pleased to welcome Anna-Karin Zinnefors to MMTC for a lunch-time seminar, where she will share insights from her extensive experience within Municipal Corporations. Municipal corporations are hybrid organizations – not quite public, not quite private – which makes them a fascinating subject of study from multiple perspectives including marketing, accounting, management, and entrepreneurship. They provide essential public values such as water, energy, and housing, while at the same time operating as limited joint stock companies with high levels of transparency and accessible data. For researchers, municipal corporations offer unique opportunities: decision-makers are often more open to collaboration than in private firms, research access is easier, and the societal and policy relevance is high. Despite this, there is still limited research on them in Sweden, creating excellent potential for impactful projects and publications. Moreover, funders such as the KK Foundation have shown strong interest in this area due to its societal significance. Date & Time: Tuesday, 17th September, 12:00 - 13:00 Location: B7030 Organizer: Media, Management and Transformation Centre |
