Open Lecture: Scandinavian Thoughts and Ideas
Welcome to the second of three lectures on Scandinavia After the two world wars, Scandinavia has seen philosophical, political and economic development that has placed the countries in the top of many global lists. This lecture looks at the Swedish Welfare State, the Nordic Model, the Third Industrial Revolution, work towards ideals like prosperity, equity and gender equality, autonomy and independence, to explain where such ideas came from and why they are now embedded in our core values - why we think like we think.
