Double Nailing - Alexander Vestin and Toni Bogdanoff

The official ceremony, during which doctoral students Alexander Vestin and Toni Bogdanoff literally nails their doctoral theses to the wall, takes place on November 21 at 9.30 am at the entrance of JTH. You are all invited to attend! After the ceremony, you are invited to meet for coffee and "spiktårta" that will be served in Galleriet.

The nailing of the thesis is an old tradition in which the thesis is made official and no changes may be done thereafter. 

Alexander Vestin will defend his doctoral thesis in Production Systems on Tuesday, 12 December at 9.15 am in E1405 (Gjuterisalen). The title of the thesis is Supporting Smart Manufacturing in Industrialized House Building Through Product Data Management.

Toni Bogdanoff will defend his doctoral thesis in Materials and Manufacturing on Friday, 15 December at 10 am in E1405 (Gjuterisalen). The title of the thesis is The Effect of Microstructural Features, Defects, and Surface Quality on the Fatigue Performance in Al-Si-Mg Cast Alloys.
